In AKKA Technologies, we are looking for a Virtualization administrator with background in Hyper-V Infrastructure to work inside one of our global projects in Valencia.
This is a permanent opportunity inside AKKA Technologies, and we would like to hear candidates who demonstrate knowledge and experience on the following:
• Experience in system administration of Hyper-V, Windows and Linux
• Good knowledge of Windows and Windows Hyper-V 2012, 2016
• Good knowledge of shell scripting (PowerShell, Perl, bash, …)
• Knowledge of Storage Area Networks, LAN, WAN, SQL and Internet technologies and protocols
• Desirable: Knowledge and experience with VMware, VMware Horizon View, VMware Orchestrator
You will participate in the administration and operations of our global client account within Virtual Server Infrastructure services, and more specifically will
• Support the daily administration and design of a global Hyper-V infrastructure of 100+ hosts and 500+ VMs
• Create and manage content in Hyper-V; VMs, templates and other Hyper-V objects.
• Perform installations and maintenance of Hyper-V hosts.
• Support the daily monitoring, reporting, alerting, and troubleshooting of complex Hyper-V environments
• Implement automation of virtualized environments Develop and update procedures and documentation
