The opportunity…
We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our Team in Murcia and work closely to the Head of Engineering, as well as collaborate with other departments across the Company. You will make sure our office runs smothly and our employees have the needed support in a timely manner whether it comes to day to day office operations or other employment related questions.
You will play a critical role in our Spanish office, contributing to our expanding aspirations with talent acquisition, as well as making sure our employees feel as valuable as they are to us. You will also be helping us handle payroll and other ground support for our employees.
What you´ll be doing…
– Acting as a primary point of contact for all local third party vendors (i.e. office suppliers and external payroll and accounting providers)
– Assist with all internal and external HR-related matters ensuring compliance with local labor regulations
– Build a relation of trust and confidence with our Team and being the main contact for any day to day matter related for our Spanish staff
– Taking main responsibility for implementing and maintaining practices related to work environment safety by ensuring the office is at all times compliant with applicable rules and regulations
– Helping to onboard the new joiners and supporting with the needed practicalities related to their start in DisplayNote Spain
– Organising weekly gatherings and occasional team building activities and company events in collaboration with the global office and assistant team
– Support employee development plans and performance management process
– Assist in Engineering talent acquisition and recruitment related tasks
– Establish relations with the Universities in the area and IT schools, as part of talent atraction activities
– Help on increasing Company visibility in the Region
– Develop and drive initiatives to maximise employee engagement
– Partner with the Head of People to establish and implement employment policies and programs
– Partner with the Head of People and leadership to design and implement growth opportunities (Career Paths, Rotation Programs etc)
– Work with the Head of People to design and implement a Performance Management and Measurement Process.
– Supervise Spanish employee administration (Payroll, Benefits, Labor Relations, update employee information to the Employee Management Tool and electronic and physical recordkeeping)
– Provide advice and counsel to leadership and employees to address employee questions or concerns in an efficient and timely manner
– Ensure and align with the organization´s mission, vision, and values
To be successful in this role, you´ll need…
– Bachelor´s Degree with 3+ years´ experience in a HR generalist role doing similar functions
– Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish
– IT related recruiting experience
– Proficient in Office 365 applications (Power Point, MS Word, MS Excel etc.) and employee data management tools
– High degree of professionalism and ability to deal sensitively with confidential material
– Understanding of the Spanish employment laws
– Demonstrated ability to partner within and outside of HR, establishing strong relationships with all levels within the organization
– Self motivated, Hands-on mentality
– Demonstrated dedication to process improvement
– Ability to effectively and carefully manage employees through the employee life cycle (candidacy to exit)
