Profile:
We are looking for a hands-on Java Team Lead or a Senior Java Software Engineer (with some experience in team management/leadership) to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate would be a passionate developer who takes pride in what they do and who will be able to contribute to a growing number of exciting applications and tools to disrupt the PropTech industry.
Skills and Requirements
– Computer Science (or related subject) Degree.
– Excellent coding skills in Java.
– Thorough understanding of relational databases such as MySQL.
– Good understanding in JavaScript (we use the Vue.js framework).
– Good understanding of the best practices for developing software (version control, CI/CD, automation, peer-programming, testing, clean code, agile, etc.).
– Fluent in English.
Nice-to-Have
– Experience with AWS-based infrastructures.
– Experience with NoSQL database systems, such as Redis.
– Experience with Kafka or Kinesis.
– Experience with iOS/Android development frameworks, such as Ionic, Cordova or PhoneGap.
– Experience with distributed services/microservices platforms.
– Shell scripting knowledge (Bash).
