Descripción: Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions
• Configure, provision and install physical hardware including at customer premises.
• Undertakes client assessments and site surveys, including wireless surveys, physical audits.
• Consistently and diligently delivers tasks undertaken ensuring quality outputs and client experiences.
• Support and contribute toward new network design architectures.
• Design, Testing & Validation of enterprise architectures, including network upgrades
• Resolves outage and trouble conditions on network platforms. Engages vendors as needed for support and for executing on vendor identified actions during issues.
• Day-to-day activities include services installations, support requests, troubleshooting and system maintenance.
• Supports new product deployments with installation, integration, testing, documentation, and training. Develops methods and standard operating procedures for troubleshooting (SOPs).
• Support to develop and execute detailed network designs and architectural plans for network applications. Strong knowledge to design IP network enterprise arquitectures.
• Knowledge on WIFI environments to maintain and troubleshoot the WIFI Network (CISCO)
• Works with vendors to ensure equipment is operating properly and resolves problems.
• May work closely with customers, directly or indirectly through Sales, to identify network needs and solution that impact network design and support requirements.
• Perform team tasks with other members of the group.
• Define/document production support requirements, escalation procedures, issue tracking and guidelines for troubleshooting

Education and experience:

• Bachelor´s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications or a related field or equivalent work experience in a network engineering or operations environment.
• 5+ years of telecommunications experience working for or with service provider networks (enterprise access perspective).

Qualifications / Skills

• Ideally Cisco certified CCNA/JNCIA (mandatory) CCNP (desirable)) or equivalent experience.
• Experience with configuration and administration of Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent routers and switches.
• Understanding of firewalls and concepts – ACL’s, NAT, IPSEC, and SSL
• Experience in designing and troubleshooting CISCO wireless networks (desirable)
• Good understanding of DNS, DHCP, TACACs, Radius and other commonly used protocols.
• Exceptional customer relationship management skills.
• Good knowledge of LAN (Ethernet) based products
• Strong technical expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting enterprise level complex network infrastructures to include (LAN, WAN, data carriers, Firewall and related networking environments)
• Strong technical knowledge in network enterprise infrastructure design, dependencies and documentation.
• Basic knowledge of WDM Transmission technology, OTN and SDH.
• Knowledge of Metro Ethernet architecture, Next Generation Packet transport technology, MEF 2.0 standards.
• Basic Knowledge of Ethernet Switching technologies and Protocols.
• Good knowledge in IPv4, IPv6, QoS, Multicast, MPLS, IP Routing Protocols (ISIS, OSPF, BGP).
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.
• Good understanding on Fiber Optic Networks and Ethernet services types.
• Attention to detail and good troubleshooting methodologies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent planning and organisation skills.
• Experienced with services testing (EtherSam, RFC2544, Etherbert).
