ElCactus is looking for Java Software Developers to work in a long term project with our client, a global Swiss company leader in manufacturing (GF)
About the role:
* You will take part in the building of new Java developments.
*You will be the technical leader of an initial 4 devs team, being the focal point with the GF global solution architect.
* Working with our development team and collaborate to evolve the platform according requirements from digital business.
* Testing and examining code written by others and analysing results.
* Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’.
* Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes.
Responsibilities:
* Develop Java-based products.
* Design and implement automated tests for your code
* Write clean code
* Take responsibility for quality and long-term maintainability of the developed software
* Ensure the software is up-to-date with latest technologies
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes following agile principles
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
• Be able to work and speak fluently in English.
• Experience is needed with in Java and SpringBoot
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL Databases.
• Ideally some experience with MicroServices and distributed architecture.
• Willing to learn new technologies and improve existing solutions constantly.
• At least 4 years of Experience with Java software development.

SALARY AND BENEFICTS:
The salary will be estimated in 50.000 €, but will be based on the experience of the candidate.
