In BCNC Group we are looking for 3 API Experts to be part of our delocalized team in a Spanish client and leader in its sector. We are talking about a long-term project, for an international project in one of the most cutting-edge technology companies.
Activities:
-Receive, analyze, and process requirements regarding new capabilities/features to be exposed through APIs.
-Design and specify APIs that can be used in every country within the group, as well as in other organizations outside of customer.
-Discuss and defend design principles in interactions with other Telco companies, both operators and vendors.
-Design integration architectures that allow to maintain simplicity and security for the APIs.
-Develop tools to ease APIs understanding and usage.
Experience:
-REST, Swagger, OpenAPI.
-Networking protocols, TCP/IP, fixed and mobile network. Many APIs expose network capabilities to third-party developers.
-Basic coding experience in Python, node.js or scripting languages.
-Used to work with GIT.
-(optional) Basic knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
-(optional) Basic knowledge of cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS).
Skills and Competencies:
-Communication: Being able to clearly communicate ideas and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
-Fluent in written and spoken English.
-Used to and willing to participate in discussions with different actors from different companies having different interests. Good in negotiations and with ability to reach agreements.
-Analytic skills, able to receive requirements, analyze them and design solutions to meet them.
-Meticulous and detail-oriented when designing solutions.
-Willingness to challenge existing solutions in order to improve them.
